Djamal is an Indonesian and a senior banker in the Asian investment and corporate banking landscape, with over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in the region.

He was previously the Asia Head of Debt Origination and Private Financing at Nomura Singapore and the SE Asia Head of Capital Markets & Treasury Services. He was also Head of Investment Banking for Indonesia at Deutsche Bank. Djamal has also worked in the structured finance space with Citibank, Rabobank. Djamal was instrumental in the early development of Indonesian bond market. He is a co-founder of Lynx.

Djamal holds a BA in Economics from University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
